OTF (Opentype) is a newer font format that allows this font to do all those ligatures and alternate forms behind the scenes to make sure the outputted text looks great. However not all applications support OTF completely. If your text rendering has broken or awkward linkages, chances are your app doesn’t support OTF completely, or you haven’t enabled OTF rendering in your app. Please refer to your app’s documentation to see how to access the opentype features in this font. > Should I install the .otf or the .ttf? Try the .otf first. The .ttf file should also contain the same features, but the format really isn’t designed to do what .otf does. INCLUDED FEATURES * Smart cursive linkages (ligature and contextual substitution) * Isolated and initial forms (isolated, initial) * Stylistic alternates (glyph substitution)
